For 2020-21 academic sessions, West Benagal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will conduct common entrance examination titled JELET-2020 for lateral entry into 2nd year (3rd semester) of the four-year courses of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology and Pharmacy.

Academic Background                     Eligibility Criteria
Diploma holder
  •         Candidates must hold a Diploma in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 45% marks (SC,ST,OBC-A,OBC-B and PwD Candidates need 40%) or equivalent CGPA.
  •         All Prescribed norms of D.G. Shipping will be applicable for admission into Marine Engineering.
B.Sc. Candidates
  •        Candidetes must have B.Sc. degree with a minimum of 45% marks
  •         Also, candidates must have passed the 12th exam with mathematics as one of the subject.
  •         B.Sc. candidates will be considered for admission only if there are vacant seats left after filling seats with Diploma holders.
Eligibility Criteria for Admission to Degree Course in Pharmacy-

Candidates must have passed Diploma in Pharmacy with a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent CGPA. However, the minimum percentage for SC,ST,OBC-A,OBC-B and PwD candidates is 40%.
