Why do we need units?

Standard units of measurement are essential So that everyone can agree on what time it is, how big andसheavy something is, and what the temperature is, So that parts of machines made in different places fit together. Some of the units we use are thousands of years old, while others were invented more recently.

》Three temperature Scales are commonly used for measuring temperature – Fahrenheit, Celsius, and Kelvin. The Kelvin scalenbegins at absolute temperature, so it is mainly used by scientists.

》zero, the coldest possiblenCelsius and Fahrenheit are used for everyday temperature measurement.

》Celsius is more common in countries  that use metric units.
